Since He-Shi began we have cared about our planet and the impact we make on it. At every step we continue to look for ways to improve our environmental footprint from ingredients to manufacturing to packaging so that we can do our part in keeping our planet beautiful.

We won't trash the planet to save your skin

Here is what we are doing:

97% RECYCLABLE PACKAGING

You can recycle 97% of all our packaging. We are also proud to be the first tanning brand to launch a fully recyclable lotion pump and we aim to be 100% recyclable by 2025.

FSC CERTIFIED CARTONS

Our cartons are FSC certified. This means that our cardboard comes only from sustainably managed forests to protect wildlife, indigenous people and to ensure trees are replaced.

PALM OIL
FREE

The production of palm oil causes mass deforestation of tropical rainforests and destruction of natural animal habitats. For this reason, you will never find it in our products.

NO PARABENS OR ALCOHOL

We're all about skin-loving formulas that provide optimum hydration so you get the best tanning results. That is why you won't find parabens or alcohol in our products.

90% NATURAL INGREDIENTS

On average, our products are formulated with 90% naturally derived ingredients and we only use 100% natural tanning actives to ensure the highest quality formulations.

VEGAN & CRUELTY FREE

The entire He-Shi range is vegan. We are also recognised by PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) as being cruelty free. We never have and never will test any of our products on animals.
